Surveily sp. z o.o. is a company that provides AI solutions for health and safety supervision. Our products aim to increase safety in a wide variety of manufacturing plants.

Our software analyzes CCTV video recordings in real-time and automatically alerts in the event of a safety breach or an anomaly.

We cater to the most dangerous sectors that require ever increasing safety parameters such as chemical, gas and oil.

The development of our product has reached TRL-8. We are continuing to develop the software by adding new functionalities and enhancing existing ones. We have completed a number of pilot projects and we have already started the commercialization of our product.

Over the last two years, since the beginning of Surveily, we have participated in two acceleration programs in Space3ac (https://www.space3.ac/) and S5 (https://startupspark.io/5g-accelerator/).

Over the last six months, we have begun six pilot projects (OHS surveillance, automatic quality-control, AI in Intralogistics 4.0).

We have recently begun the commercial cooperation with Reckitt Benckiser at one of their main plants in Poland, where we support safety surveillance over roughly 2 000 workers. We work on various cases; inter alia, we analyze traffic to prevent accidents involving workers walking outside the designated paths, trucks or forklifts.

Finally, we are aiming to close the commercial deal with PKN Orlen at the end of Q1 of 2021.

Our company is currently in the post-investment stage in the middle of the main acceleration under the Shape VC program (http://www.shape.vc/).

Our customers are the companies that belong, or want to belong to the industry 4.0. We are interested especially in the high-hazardous workplaces - factories, mines, constructions, warehouses.

The segments we are analysing is Edge AI software, as well as Environmental Health and Safety markets. Reports by marketsandmarkets clearly indicate significant increase in the market size in both cases.

Accidents and injuries are a huge problem in the industry. Every year, thousands of people around the world get injured in factories, costing hundreds of millions of dollars in treatment, rehabilitation and production downtime.

With automated monitoring systems, access to up-to-date data and insights, our objective is to help managers make better, information-based decisions, to increase workplace safety.

- Artificial Intelligence can identify high-risk zones. If an unauthorized object shows up in the zone, the system alerts the manager to protect the employee from danger.
- Automatic surveillance shows when an employee commits a safety breach, such as removing protective clothing.
- The software enables counting of people entering/leaving specific areas. In the event of an evacuation the system alerts if the People Counter indicates that somebody is still in the danger zone.
- Fall Detection System immediately alerts you when the worker falls to help speed up and improve medical assistance.

Our competition is divided into two groups:

The first group bases its solutions on hardware cameras with built-in artificial intelligence. These are companies such as Dahua, HikVision, Robert Bosch and Huawei. None of them focuses on providing a solution dedicated to the production sector (OHS) and additionally requires the client to seriously modify their CCTV infrastructure, and these companies do not offer the software alone.

The second group are companies offering AI software. Their proposal mainly consists of APIs and SDKs. Unlike our comprehensive OSH dedicated solution for industry, they only offer components that must be used by the customer to build their own system. For example:

- The system integrates with the existing CCTV network. The client does not need to invest in the existing infrastructure. That is a strategic advantage compared to companies basing their AI solutions on dedicated hardware.

- The client receives a complete, configured, fully functional solution. Optionally API based integration is available.

- We offer technical support. The client can be sure we will choose the right, cost-optimal solution.

- The Surveily system's innovation is using the proprietary hybrid anomaly search engine based on Convolutional Neural Networks, which can be perceived as a regulated form of a Fully Connected Network.

- That approach is particularly effective for Image classification. A problem reported by end-users is the lack of understanding of how the AI model generates results and on what data it is trained. We want to create a functionality that allows the customer to build their own data models, created by experts on the customer's side, ensuring better product scalability.

At the time, our costs are:
1. Implementation - depends on the magnitude of the project, number of required features, cameras and infrastructure. May vary from USD 40 000 up to USD 200 000.
2. Subscription - for now, our fee starts from around USD 60 per camera per month.

Our business model consists of two kinds of component costs.

1. One-time delivery costs
- Server purchase
- Custom functionality development
- Client system integration
- Enrichment of the AI to introduce custom objects

2. Subscription
Monthly payment for the software license. It includes a service level agreement that is defined in the contract. The SLA ensures system reliability and secures all future improvements that are delivered through software updates.

1. International sales.
2. Operational growth.
3. Increase of employment.

That will be discussed at negotiations. We expect it to be between 10 and 20 percent of total shares.

Risks:
1. Insufficient sales. Inefficient building of a distribution network.
2. Failure at protecting intellectual property of Surveily - source code.
3. Technological risk e.g. in terms of limited performance, reliability of our software.

Surveily participated in two acceleration programs:

1. Space3ac - https://www.space3.ac/ - second half of 2019.
2. S5 - https://startupspark.io/5g-accelerator/ - started in summer 2020. Currently we undergo a main phase of the program.

Both programs took place in Poland.
